The people of the Harz have always been close to nature, as they did not want to deprive themselves of the basis of their economy. Wood as a raw material for mining and metallurgy was planted for future generations as early as the 15th century. This means that we were already operating ecologically and sustainably long before the word “sustainable” was on everyone’s lips.

July 2024 – TÜV Audit
Renewed successful certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and DIN EN ISO 14001:2015
April 2024 – EcoVadis Bronze
EcoVadis examines and systematically evaluates the sustainable actions of companies in the key areas of the environment, labor and human rights, sustainable procurement and business ethics.
In April 2024, we achieved the bronze medal, placing us in the top 35% of the companies assessed. We are proud that our commitment to sustainability has been honoured with this award.
April 2024 – Responsible Care
As a member of the German Chemical Industry Association (VCI), it was a matter of course for us – we signed the Responsible Care initiative’s declaration of commitment. This signature was a formality, because we have always worked according to these principles.
2022 – Photovoltaic system
After a long delivery time, we were able to put our 118 modules with 44 kW peak into operation and thus cover a large part of our energy supply.
2021 – Vehicle fleet
The first e-car was added to our vehicle fleet.
2018 – Green electricity
We convert the entire business to green electricity and install a wallbox for charging e-cars.
Environmentally friendly & certified management
Today, we are committed to our location on the edge of the Harz Nature Park, operate in an environmentally friendly manner and have been certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001 since 1998.
Water dilutable products account for 60 % of the total volume, and the trend is still upward. Technologies from non-toxic paints for children’s toys are also applied to “normal” paints in order to constantly improve the environmental balance.
“Quality is: when the customer comes back – not the product”… and you should like to come back! That is why we are constantly working on the further development of paints and coatings, so that you get your optimal solution.
Our QM has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1997 (certificate register no. 08 100 1790 of TÜV CERT certification body of TÜV Nord CERT GmbH & Co. KG).
Large companies regularly classify us as “A – suppliers”. Since 2003, environmental and quality management have been integrated into a certified overall system (IMS).
