Dipping with Zuelch

Dipping is a particularly efficient process, as there is practically no loss of paint (e.g. due to overspray when spraying). Wood, metal or plastic can be easily processed with dip varnishes.

Manual dipping

is a simple process for low-viscosity paints, such as metal primers, wood impregnations, etc. This method can also be used quickly and cost-effectively for more complex part shapes.

Machine dipping process

The machine dipping process with mechanical or electronic speed control is used for high-quality surfaces. We will be happy to provide you with the name of equipment manufacturers on request.

Quality and layer thickness

is determined by the following parameters:

  • Special lacquer systems (flow behavior, drying, etc.)
  • Part shape
  • Viscosity
  • Pull-out speed
  • Number of coating layers

Depending on the quality requirement, dipping may be necessary once or several times.

Prerequisite: The part mould must be suitable for the dipping process.

We will be happy to advise you.

Zuelch tip

Expensive injection molds, printing rollers, matrixes and other high-quality and sensitive surfaces are safely and reliably protected during transport and storage with peelable lacquer.
