Diving with Zuelch

Dipping is one of the most efficient processes, as there is practically no paint loss (e.g. due to overspray during spraying). Wood, metal or plastic can be easily processed with dip coatings.

Hand dipping method

is a simple method for low-viscosity coatings, such as metal primers, wood impregnations, etc. This method can also be used quickly and inexpensively for more complex part shapes.

Machine immersion process

For high-quality surfaces, the machine dipping process with mechanical or electronic speed control is used. We will be happy to name equipment manufacturers on request.

Quality and thickness of the coating

is determined by the following parameters:

  • Special coatings (run-off behavior, drying, etc.)
  • Part shape
  • Viscosity
  • Pull-out speed
  • Number of coating layers

Depending on the quality requirement, dipping once or several times is necessary. Prerequisite: The part mold must be suitable for the dipping process. We will be happy to advise you.

Zuelch tip

Expensive injection molds, printing rollers, matrixes and other high-quality and sensitive surfaces are safely and reliably protected during transport and storage with peelable lacquer.

Coaching

The objective of this training is to understand the various applications and requirements of stripping varnishes. How are they applied and where is their location?
