Hot barrel lacquers

Small parts made of wood, plastic or metal can be painted in the hot barrel.

Product details

Hot barrel coating is a special type of tumbling coating and is only possible with special equipment technology. The coating is not only applied by rotation (as in conventional drum application) but additionally under heat and paint supply.

The required temperature of the small parts to be coated is achieved with a special heating unit inside the machine.
However, to save machine time, it is recommended to use preheated blanks.
The fast-drying hot-tumbling lacquer is applied with a minimum of overspray.
The process is very well suited for bulk small part coating.
The coated parts are immediately available for the next production step – without the otherwise necessary overnight drying.

Our focus is on the 2Pack-Hydro lacquer system, but solvent-based products are also available.
